The leading building and construction trade show in the region, PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas will mark a milestone this year with its tenth year anniversary. The event is set to happen on June 6 to 8 and is said to occupy the entire Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino – from the hotel’s outdoor area to each meeting rooms, as well as both Pacific and Atlantic Ballrooms, each will serve a purpose for the event’s grand celebration.
For the past decade, the event has been an effective platform in connecting industry professionals, business owners and consumers which makes it the no. 1 industry showcase in the region since 2009. “Looking back last year, the event closed its showcase recording 10,307 registered industry professionals for three days”, said Engr. Jerry Pancho, Overall Chairman of PHILCONSTRUCT. “Everyone who matters in the construction industry was there! More than 200 suppliers were pleased meeting local engineers, architects, general contractors, developers, property owners, interior designers, and even government procurement heads.”
“With the current endorsement from the Regional Development Council (RDC) 7 of P58.8 billion dedicated for infrastructure development here in Cebu, I am certain that our 10th-year celebration will be a blast”, claimed Bernard Sia, Event Chairman of PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas. “We are expecting that more professionals will join us this June to meet the top suppliers in the construction industry, not only from Cebu but from neighboring provinces as well. The Cebu Contractors Association will likewise launch the most up-to-date safety video guide during the event. “We at CCA value each individual working inside a construction site. Contractors licensing and registration booth by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) will as well run alongside with the show from June 6 to 8, with the following services:

The showcase doesn’t end there. PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas is also boasting a massive display of heavy-duty equipment and machinery featuring over 50 brands.
The event will also host a 2-day competition to show off exceptional skills of scaffold builders while following the Full PPE and Fall Arrest System. The competition will be divided into two categories; the first category will be focusing on building a tube and coupler scaffold while the second category will emphasize building system scaffolds. Each participant will be Scaffold Erection NCII Certified. The competition will be held at the TESDA VII Compound on June 7 and 8.
The show will be held back-to-back with HVAC/R Visayas and will be open to industry professionals from June 6 to 8, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm (except on the last day where it will close at 5:00 pm).
